In this episode, we pick up where ‘WandaVision’ left off ‘3 years ago’ in the MCU timeline, where we last saw Agatha Harkness and Wanda Maximoff come head-to-head, ending with Wanda, the Scarlet Witch placing a spell on Agatha to keep her as ‘Agnes, the nosey-neighbour’, without any power, memories or knowledge of who she really is but two new and mysterious characters pay Agatha a visit. The episode begins as a ‘Mare of Eastown’ / ‘True Detective’ style where the apparent corpse of the Scarlet Witch has been discovered in ‘WestView’ but due to the spell, ‘Agnes’ cannot recognise it. Rio Vidal, a long-lost person who used to be in Agatha’s life seems to attempt to break through to her but it’s not until a mysterious unnamed ‘Teen’ shows up who seems to be able to break Agatha free of the spell where her waking nightmare takes place as she discovers she has been trapped as a ‘nosey-neighbour’ for 3 years and has been left powerless without the darkhold and without her bewitched basement.
