Listen to the train. There's one that goes by every 10 secs and takes 10 secs to go by. Look at the top of the screen on the left. You can see the train go by. Wait 10 secs and then start sneaking past the dog. Hurry to get in the shed because the door squeaks. Pick up the axe and then do the same thing to go back to the ladder.
