World Championship Wrestling may be long, long gone, but that doesn't mean it's been forgotten. Not even close! I grew up a huge WCW fan. I was that kid who preferred the nWo over DX, Sting over The Undertaker, Goldberg over Stone Cold and more. What I never experienced, though, until much later, was WCW's first video game. 'WCW Wrestling' on the NES (which doesn't doesn't make sense, the long form title is World Championship Wrestling Wrestling, after all) was released in 1989. With a roster comprised of Ric Flair, Sting, Dr. Death, The Road Warriors, Eddie Gilbert and more, this one doesn't get the love it deserves. So let's show it some love, DanDans!
