The Ramp N Clamp comes with 2 handle options for releasing the boat. It has a long handle and a short handle to choose from. This video is a breakdown of the Ramp N Clamp long handle and short handle options. The long handle is common for the person who likes to release the boat from inside the boat. Typically roller trailers prefer this long handle option. The other option is a short handle. The short handle is common for bunk trailers. This is for customers that do not need a long handle to reach from inside the boat to release it. This also comes with a second option handle that allows you to manually release the boat at anytime. You do not have to float the boat in order to release the boat. When using the "option 2" handle you can open the clamp while in the dry. This allows the boat to just float away once the boat floats and does not require you to pull the handle. This short handle is common on bunk trailers. Please note the short handle can not be converted to a long handle later and the long handle can not be converted to a sort either.
