In this episode we head over to Diamond Piston’s facilities to learn about their research & development and custom piston design. Then we head back in studio with Lake Speed Jr. of Total Seal, and Jimmy Barton and David Lewis from Roush-Yates Engines to talk piston materials, the evolution of piston design, and everything from heads to skirts, rings, pins and oil. The trio finishes up with a Q&A session from the viewing audience. Finally, the episode closes with a Tech Chip session with Jeff Havens of Silver Seal and Chris Straub of Straub Technologies talking about sourcing hard-to-find and high-end components for LS engines.
