Advertising, The New American Art Mission overview Catherine Braithwaite pays Hosea and Arthur to head into Rhodes and hand out the stolen moonshine for free at the local saloon. Part I Whilst at camp, Abigail informs Arthur that Hosea and John are waiting at the stolen moonshine stash for him, to attempt to sell it back to the Braithwaites, and that Hosea wants Arthur to join him instead, because John has now been instructed by Dutch to look into something else. Arthur heads over to them. Part II Arthur meets the pair, and they explain what they plan to do with the moonshine. Hosea explains that since he doesn't have a client to sell the moonshine to, he says that he plans to instead take the stash to the Braithwaites, under the pretense that he was returning lost goods, for a reward. John leaves so he can look into potentially stealing the Braithwaites' prized race horses, for Dutch. Upon reaching Braithwaite Manor, Hosea explains his intentions to Catherine Braithwaite, the family matriarch, and requests a reward of half of what the stolen moonshine bottles usually cost. Her sons are initially hostile towards Hosea and Arthur, but Catherine orders them to stand down and pay the two. However, Catherine reveals she already knows that Sheriff Leigh Gray was the one who had them take the moonshine, and tells them to hand out the moonshine for free in the local saloon owned by the Grays, for an extra $10. Hosea & Arthur comply and head for Rhodes. On the way, Hosea decides that he and Arthur assume the roles of Melvin & Fenton, as part of their classic clown-and-idiot act, in order to give the moonshine away at the saloon, much to the latter's chagrin. Upon arrival at the saloon, Arthur and Hosea introduce themselves and announce that they will be serving all-you-can-drink moonshine to patrons, for no cost at all, much to their joy. Hosea & Arthur serve out the moonshine into all into the night, with the drunken chaos and disorder growing by the hour. However, later on, the duo are confronted by the Lemoyne Raiders, who are very angry to see what was happening with the moonshine they were going to buy. A shootout ensues in the saloon, and Hosea & Arthur fight their way out of Rhodes. Once the coast is clear, Hosea & Arthur discuss the nature of the Lemoyne Raiders, and whether the Braithwaites set them up. Hosea heads back to Braithwaite manor, while Arthur returns to camp to speak with Dutch. Once there, Arthur talks with Dutch and Micah about the two feuding families, and their plan to use the feud as a means to supposedly rob them of large amounts of money & gold. Arthur is initially unsure of whether the plan is a good idea, given the massive amount of trouble they are already in with the law. He also doesn't believe in vengeance, which is one of Dutch's motives behind this plan, as Dutch has a deep hatred for southerners which stems from the death of his father during the Civil War. Nonetheless, Arthur goes along with Dutch's plan: Dutch tries to play the Grays, whilst Hosea tries to play the Braithwaites. As for Arthur's next move, he can either choose to meet up with Hosea and Sean at Braithwaite Manor, to look into the Grays' tobacco fields, or meet up with John and Javier at Caliga Hall, to look into the Braithwaites' prized race horses. It's better to take the latter mission, otherwise if you raid the tobacco fields first it becomes unavailable.
