I show you the step by step process to accessing and replacing the cabin air filter on a 3rd gen (22-25) Nissan frontier SV, this is the same process for all trim levels s, sv, prox, and pro4x from 2022 to 2025+. Nissan made this process a bit more complicated in the third generation frontiers compared to previous years, but at the end of the day its still a pretty easy task that takes less than 10 min. Changing the cabin air filter is often overlooked or even something that people don't know exist. the cabin air filter is responsible for filtering the air that comes into the cab and through the hvac (heat and a/c) vents. This filter can and will get dirty in a matter of time, mine had a collection of dust, dead bugs, leaves and even small sticks! Changing this filter can also help get rid of any unusual smells coming from your vents. If this filter gets totally clogged you can experience diminished air flow or underperforming heat and air conditioning. Step 1: Remove the entire glove box assembly by unscrewing the 5 screws, be sure to unclip the glove box light. Step 2: Unclip the small fuse panel, this step can be skipped, but makes removal and replacement of filter easier! Step 3: Access cabin air filter cover and remove. Step 4: Remove old air filter and replace with new filter. Step 5: Reassemble in the reverse order of removal. Hopefully you found this video helpful!
