As a little girl, you are pulled the rubble of a destroyed structure after seeing your mother killed by the collapse, listening to the boots of Russian soldiers, Farah and her father rush to make it home to go get Hadir. Armed with nothing but desperation and stealth, young Farah sneaks and manages to avoid a Russian soldier, who later kills her father. Eventually taking up a sharp object and stabs him to defeat the Russian. Alongside her brother Hadir, she witnesses the cruelty of General Barkov firsthand.
