Prestwick Airport - US Air Force(USAF) C-17A Globemaster III (Anchorage) 98-0051 Arrival 15/12/2019
On the 15/12/2019 a rather far travelled Alaskan (Anchorage) based US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III arrived at Prestwick Airport. This particular aircraft is based at Elmendorf Air Base, Anchorage, Alaska. Elmendorf AB was amalgamated with nearby US army base Fort Richardson in 2010 to form Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. (Source - Wikipedia). This particular aircraft has some rather nice tail art and to catch an Alaska based aircraft is fairly rare.
