Presidents of China, Burkina Faso Agree to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kabore who is paying a state visit to China at Xi's invitation and will attend the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) scheduled for Sept. 3-4. Prior to his meeting with Kabore, Xi held a ceremony to welcome the visiting president at the Great Hall of the People. At the meeting, Xi said he welcomes Kabore to visit China and attend the summit. It is the first time for Burkina Faso to join the event, which is very important for ties between China and Burkina Faso and between China and Africa. China highly appreciates Kabore's decision on resuming diplomatic relations with China in May and the bilateral ties have made inspiring progress in the past three months, said Xi. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20180831...
