200 to 300 BPM single strokes double bass drumming (ankle technique)
Hey everyone!!! After a whole year working on the ankle motion I decided to record a short video to show my progress. At the end of last year I was really struggling with the swivel technique, I had hard times trying to control it and I started feeling pain in my hips. Because of that, I started working on the ankle technique which was way more natural to me. I have to say that Marthyn Jovanovic's Bass Drum Mastery and Drum Technique Academy helped me a lot during this year, they have been real game changers for me and after a whole year working on the principles in the course and listening to the lessons and personal feedbacks in the academy, I've reached this result which is way beyond what I was expecting. I have still a lot to work on and improve, still trying to clean up the 240/260 BPM range in musical situations, but I am also quite happy with how things are going. Hope you enjoy!!!
