An eco-friendly logistics service sounds a bit like a contradiction. But what Darlis thought as more contradicting was if we use more vehicles when we know it’s not good for us. So what started as a bike gig, turned into a full-fledged eco-courier service. Now, with Halo Ijo, you can have a low-carbon solution for your deliveries. Still, he fell in love with the outdoors -- hiking became one of his hobbies. And while the lush scenery of the mountains was a far cry from the view back home, he realized that the environment still needs saving, wherever you are. Then, he founded Haloijo Ecoservice, one of Surabaya’s first eco-courier services. At first, they helped deliver packages for a friend’s online shop. But their clientele grew larger and now they can deliver from documents to foods, drinks and more… so that we don’t need to sweat it if we want to go green.
