Fugitive Abubakar Mansur arrested on ivory trading and drug trafficking offences

A multi-agency team have arrested Abubakar Mansur Surur, wanted for poaching at the Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Surur, who is flagged on the United States Wanted list landed in Kenya from Yemen, aboard a chartered aircraft early Wednesday. The 60 year old is wanted for poaching and drug trafficking offenses amounting to over 700 Million shillings. According to the police the suspect had returned to the country alongside forty-six other Kenyans who were stranded in Yemen.
