MOVING AROUND # 4 - GUIDE TONES - TENOR SAX

Here we have 5 sets of guide tones over an 8 bar chord progression starting on F minor. (each phrase is played twice). I put them on a synth to allow you to play your instrument and either follow along or improvise around the guide tones. TOP TIP (Start each new bar with the guide tone and then add other notes after) The first three start on the root note, the third and the 5th. Then the next two descend and ascend respectively. These guide tones give you a foundation to move horizontally as the chords move around you in your improvisation.
