Julia has criticised Ben & Jerry’s for “woke virtue signalling” tweets aimed at Priti Patel’s approach to immigration. She said: “Could you just do the job that we’ve paid you to do and keep your nose out of our politics…You can signal your virtue as much as you want but we really don’t care what you think.” The ice-cream company lambasted the Home Secretary online, saying “people cannot be illegal”.
