Hello,Welcome to our Youtube Chanel. On Saturday before Easter Day, we walked and exploring Santa Maria Magdalena Cave in La Sainte Baume mountain , South of France. St Marie Magdalena stayed in the cave after the death of Jesus for 30 years . Its located on the slopes of the Sainte Baume mountain. Nestled in the heart of Provence, South of France,Sainte Baume Mountain is a majestic limestone massif that rises to a height of 1,147 meters. It has been a site of spiritual significance for centuries, attracting pilgrims and travelers from around the world. The mountain is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including oak and beech forests, as well as a number of rare and endangered species. The cave is located at an altitude of 894 meters above sea level, , and can be reached by following a winding path through the mountain's forests and rocky terrain. We reached by " The Chemin de Roys" or King footpath; In the Middle Ages, it attracts popes, kings, crusaders and pilgrims. It receives the visit of Francis I, Charles IX, Henry IV, Louis XIII, Anne of Austria and Louis XIV. The trail to the cave is moderate, with a distance around 50 minute,and maybe around 4 km, We are surrounded by natural beauty of mountain,with stunning views of the lush forrest and rocky terrain.The trail winds its way up the mountain, and we encounter of variety of terrain, including steep inclines and rocky paths. Really, we feel a sense of gratitude for the natural beauty and spiritual significance of the Sainte Baume Mountain and the Sainte Marie Magdalena cave.
