Lotus Elise 111R vs BMW130i @ Bedford Autodrome SEN Circuit by ERC-Racing

Track Battles by Eduardo Rodrigues (erc-racing). My fastest lap, side by side in both the Lotus Elise 111R (thanks Andy) and in the BMW130i (thanks Oscar). Lotus Elise 111R ~ 1.51.2 BMW130i ~ 1.56.2 As expected the lighter Lotus is considerably faster. The better power to weight ratio, better tyres and more suited suspension set up allows is to brake late, carry more speed through the corners and accelerate faster. The BMW never had much of chance on this comparison, but it proved to be a capable car on track (needs proper brakes for harder and more consistent braking). It is a great all rounder though. Does everything else and can still deliver some fun in a race track even if that is not its natural habitat. Apologies for the editing. It is not brilliant but does the job of showing the differences... Need to get some tips from some pros (Chris Harris, Top Gear...) Still, I hope you have enjoyed this lap.
