In this series, Iyanla emphasizes the importance of voting in the upcoming election. In her sixth episode, Iyanla shares photos of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On November 3rd, she's voting for all of her grandchildren. She's voting for her granddaughters so that they remember and honor the great Black women that came before them. She's also voting for her grandsons, to support her prayers that they never become victims to police violence and discrimination. It is our responsibility and duty to vote. Voting is one of the ways that Iyanla is paying homage to the ancestors of her family and community who lived and died for the right to vote.
