Santiniketan Road Trip

Santiniketan , land of rangamati (red soil) and Palash ful. The serene town of Santiniketan was established by Rabindranath Tagore and is now a university town – Visva Bharati University. You can visit Santiniketan throughout the year but to see the colourful side of the university town, visit during one of the festivals. It is 170 KM from Kolkata by road. It is very well connected by road till burdwan with Durgapur Expressway (NH2). This highway is one of the best in the country. The road is full of scenic beauty. It takes arround 4 hour from Kolkata to reach Bolpur, Santiniketan.
