King Charles III is facing ‘many challenges’

There is something “more steely” about King Charles III after the passing of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, according to former Howard government minister Peter McGauran. “Cometh the hour, cometh the man,” Mr McGauran said. Mr McGauran added the new King will have “many, many challenges ahead”. “King Charles III will have to find ways to engage with Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales - to keep the Kingdom united,” he said.
