Shadow Man (PSX) - Why it Lags so Much (Below 10 FPS)

Shadow Man on the PS1 is by far the worst port of the 1999 PC / Dreamcast release. The Nintendo 64 port feels amazing in comparison. In this video, I'm going to show you why it's so slow - why the framerate is so low, and give ideas on how to fix it alongside with an example of how a fix could look like. The N64 port could also probably be pushed further given what we know here, but it doesn't have the same diabolical performance issues the Playstation port has, so I think focusing on this port is better. I feel like it shouldn't be too much effort to, with access to the source code, push the game up to 15, 20 maybe even 30 FPS in some places. But the only way we can know is if someone tries it.
