Super Mario Galaxy 2 Glitch - Yoshi Can Slide! (Description has more info, kids. ;D)

No idea how this happened. I was just dicking around on Starship Mario, trying to find out what the cap was for lives (it caps at 99, BTW) and this happened. I didn't even see what was going on at the time it happened, and I tried duplicating the results to no avail, so if any of you intrepid SMGers out there want to post how to do it as a vid response or in the comments, that would be helpful. Yoshi seems to endlessly slide in the crouch position. Directional input still moves you, and letting go of the Z button (the crouch button) doesn't seem to end the sliding. The only thing that did stop the sliding was jumping. After that, Yoshi lands and returns to idle stance. Thanks for watching, and enjoy.
