I am an adult child of a single-mother family. I know what it is like to be in a single-mother home. My mom did a wonderful job raising three children. In the 1970s, it was a different challenge to raise three children and battle alcoholism. As a teacher since 1989, I am in the MAJORITY of teachers who KNOW you (the parents) know your children / their needs better than we (their teachers) ever will.
