Synopsis: "The Last of Us" season 2 picks up five years after the events of season one, with Joel and Ellie living in the relatively safe community of Jackson, Wyoming, but their relationship strained by the events of the previous season. Joel's lie about saving Ellie, and his actions at the hospital, have created a rift between them, and Ellie is now angry and distrustful of Joel. Their peaceful existence is threatened by the arrival of Abby, a member of the Fireflies who seeks revenge for the death of her father and others at Joel's hands.
