Emergency Backup Sump Pump DIY #1 | Planning

In this video, I announce my plan to make a DIY emergency backup sump pump system by creating my own DIY positive gear displacement pump and running it all on Arduino. It will trigger in the event of the main sump pump failing. It can play an alarm and run on lead acid batteries and/or wall power (so works on wall power if available and battery power if there is a power outage).
