REKAP: 🏈 Chicago Bears 35-32 Loss to the Miami Dolphins - Chicago, We Finally Have A Quarterback!
The main storyline from this game was the offense, and more specifically, Justin Fields. Kap declares that after decades of never having a quarterback, the Bears FINALLY have their guy. Justin Fields did everything he could in the game to get the Bears the win. But the his receivers and the refs let him down. Kap was very disappointed with the officiating in the game. The refs missed an egregious pass interference call at the end of the game that should have moved the Bears down the field. Chase Claypool went up for the catch but had the DB draped all over him. Amazingly, the refs didn't call it. On the very next play, Justin Field rolled out and threw a dart right to Equanimeous St Brown but it went right through his hands. Justin Fields did set the all-time regular season rushing record for a quarterback as he tried to keep up with the Dolphins high-powered offense. Kap also notes that the defense did not perform very well. They had trouble stopping the very talented Dolphins passing attack of Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle.
