KULGAM POLICE ARRESTED TWO NARCOTIC DRUG PEDDLERS
KULGAM POLICE ARRESTED TWO NARCOTIC DRUG PEDDLERS AND RECOVERED HUGE QUANTITY OF CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE. District Police Kulgam In a major success arrested two drug peddlers and recovered Huge Quantity of contraband substance and other equipments used in this illegal work. Police party established a Naka at Okey and during checking one Vehicle (Alto car) bearing registration number JK18-9565 was intercepted. During checking officers present were able to recover One Quintal Poppy Straw from the possession of two persons ferrying in the said car, they have been identified as Shahid Ahmad Zargar S/O Bashir Ahmad Zargar & Rafiq Ahmad Bhat S/O Abdul Gaffar Bhat both the residents of Okey Kulgam and were apprehended also vehicle used for commission of crime was seized. Whole questioning both the accused they further revealed the name of another accomplice namely Mohd Ishaq Sheikh S/O Mohd Ramzan Sheikh R/O Okey and during the search of his house in village Okay two Grinding machines, One digital weighing machine and One Genset were also recovered however the accused accomplice managed to escape at home. Regarding the incident case FIR No. 152/2020 U/S 8/15, 29 NDPS act stands registered in Police station Kulgam and further investigation into the matter has been taken up. Also searches are going on to arrest the absconded person.
