Saving content from Google Calendar allows you to back up your events or transfer them to another account or calendar app. This can be done easily through the export feature on the desktop version of Google Calendar. To save your calendar data, go to [https://calendar.google.com](https://calendar.google.com) on a computer. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select *Settings**. In the left-hand menu, click **Import & export**. Under the **Export* section, click *Export* to download a `.zip` file containing your calendars in `.ics` format. These files can be imported into other calendar services or stored as a backup. If you want to share specific content instead of exporting everything, you can share a calendar or an individual event. To share a calendar, click the three-dot menu next to the calendar name under "My calendars," select **Settings and sharing**, and use the "Share with specific people" or "Access permissions" section to manage visibility. To share a single event, open the event, click **Add guests**, and input the emails of people you want to invite.
