https://www.thecenterforchildren.org/ - 675,000 children are abused every year in America. 117,000 children are waiting to be adopted. 22,000 will age out with no family. We must fix this. At the Center for the Rights of Abused Children, our mission is to protect children, change laws and inspire people - to ensure every child has a bright future. It's why our founder, Darcy Olsen, started the Center for the Rights of Abused Children in 2017. Our advocacy for abused children happens in real time, every day. We help children who are falling through the cracks by strengthening protections to end violence and actively fighting for them in court. Our pro bono Children's Law Clinic has handled thousands of cases advocating for children in court and providing free emergency legal assistance expediting their path to justice, family and a better tomorrow. Real change requires common-sense reforms. Because of the Center for the Rights of Abused Children, thousands of abused children in foster care now have an attorney, children are spending less time in state care, law enforcement has what it needs to help identify missing children in foster care and stop the abuse, safe haven laws have been expanded bringing more babies to safety and teenagers in foster care now have access to their birth documents opening more doors to education and employment. The Center for the Rights of Abused Children has been a lifeline for over 500,000 abused children in America. Learn more at https://www.thecenterforchildren.org/
