'No longer sanctions waivers for importing Iranian oil': Mike Pompeo

United States' Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday said that the country will no longer grant exemptions to eight countries for importing crude oil from Iran. These countries include India, China, Japan, Italy, Greece, South Korea, Taiwan and Turkey. The decision to end sanctions waivers was finalized by President Donald Trump on Friday. The existing waivers are slated to expire on May 2, 2019.
