In the first series of the 07'-08' NBA playoffs the #8 seed Denver Nuggets played the #1 seed Los Angeles Lakers in a series that sadly wasn't much of a contest but did give the Lakers a run for their money at times. The Denver Nuggets got swept which was hard for the city of Denver who felt they had a legitimate title contender just to get swept in the first round.
