Not your enemy. That leader you hate? Not your enemy. That family member who betrayed you? Not your enemy. Your real enemy is invisible. Ancient. Spiritual. And you're not ready for this war. You've got the helmet. You've got the shield. You've got the sword. You LOOK like a soldier. But you're not. You're missing three pieces: the ones nobody wants to wear because they're not glamorous, they don't make you look tough, and they don't get you any attention. ☦︎ The belt of truth. ☦︎ The breastplate of righteousness. ☦︎ The shoes of peace. Without these three, you're just a child playing dress-up. And when the real enemy strikes, you'll fall apart. "Many people today imagine themselves as crusaders. They imagine they're going to defend the faith. But the shield of faith is not the knowledge of doctrines. It's the trust in the living God. They think they know. They think they're going to teach everybody what the scriptures mean.
