Clean New World #22 - Terra's History

Brave New World is a Final Fantasy VI hack made by BTB. The usual suspects of boosted difficulty, rebalanced skills, and so on are featured. The biggest claim to fame of BNW is the fact everyone can only equip certain espers, thusly shifting the game more towards something like Final Fantasy IX where everyone has unique roles with magic being more of a minor tool for some characters. I'm playing this hack on the Clean New World version which changes some of the dialogue throughout the game to be less dirty and nothing more. You will need to find a clean ROM on your own though sadly. Purely cutscenes in this video so feel free to skip this if you want. In the aftermath of the goddamn cranes, the party flies to Zozo to help Terra with their newly acquired magicite. This seems to spark Terra's memory and she recalls how she was born. In a few scenes you get to take control of in the Esper World, you get to see how Maduin defied the logic that humans & espers can't coexist as he has a baby (Terra) with a human, Madonna. You also get to see more empire shenanigans as they invade, capture some espers, and are general dingbats all around. The Elder sets up a seal to drive all the humans out of their world, but before that completes, Madonna somehow loses grip on Terra, she gets sucked outside, and more shenanigans occur. Flashback to the present where Terra's finally got a hold of her powers and rejoins the team. She suggests going back to Narshe to check up on the situation there. In the process, you can get a tutorial on how to control the airship and some words of warning from Setzer. Just make your way to Narshe and save up. Don't want to deal with the cranes again I assure you.
