Players in the tourism industry are optimistic of a sustainable run of visitors to their facilities. Buoyed by the resumption of international flights operators says this will add to the already growing numbers by domestic tourists. The sector was hard hit by the containment measures put in place to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in late March. However, with the relaxation of the measures among them lifting of cessation of movement into and out of Nairobi and Mombasa. Players are also hopeful that orders by President Kenyatta allowing public institutions to once again hold meetings at private facilities will lift the sector.
