India Likely To Try And Balance Inflation With Fiscal Deficit: Sources

India is expecting to fight the inflation resulting out of the global factors as the uncertainties are expected to continue. Sources said that the Finance Ministry will try and balance the fiscal deficit along with the necessary measures needed to fight inflation. The exact position on the borrowing will be known only by June or July, sources said. On the GST front, sources said that though there may be a discussion in the Council on the rate rationalization measures it is unlikely that the suggestions will be implemented anytime soon due to the current inflationary pressures.
