Why Dragonvein Awakening is the Best Healing Skill

Why Dragonvein Awakening is the Best Healing Skill

Typically, Safi Jiva's armor bonus skill is one that hurts you in turn of boosted affinity and elemental/status attack. When you look at what it is really doing, you see that it heals you more than the number of attacks you hit with (assuming you'll land almost all your attacks). Because of this, you gain health over time. Alongside this, it gives you a health boost similar to a potion, meaning it can be buffed with the recovery up skill. 2:06 Safi Skill alone (Heals about 150% of health lost) 3:05 Safi + Recovery Up (Heals about 200% of health lost) 4:47 Safi + Recovery Up with various other weapons (to show consistency) 9:25 Safi + 2 health augments on a gunlance, only using Guard Thrust. (No harm done with huge Safi healing benefit) 11:25 Safi + Recovery Up + 2 health augments on the same gunlance, only using Guard Thrust. (Similar to before, but even more so.) Now watch how effective it is and just how much health can be healed when you add health augments as well. Dragonvein Awakening may not heal well without added help, but it will always be useful for healing when you use recovery up and a health augment alongside it. It will outperform Nergigante and Val Hazaak set bonus skills even if those had the same assistance from recovery up and health augments. In conclusion, because you can benefit from Dragonvein Awakening as a healing skill as well as an offensive boosting skill, it will provide more value in healing and damage than other methods and combos.
