Project Madinah Presents... The Rise, Fall and Return of Islam "We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. As we have succeeded in finishing off the Khilafah, so we must ensure that there will never arise again unity for the Muslims, whether it be intellectual or cultural unity." These are the famous words uttered by George Curzon (then British Foreign Minister) in 1924, after dismantling Islam's authority on this Earth. The quote reminds us of a time where Muslims held their heads up high, where peace and security dominated our lands, and where progression was rife. For 88 years since that fateful day on March 3, 1924, Muslims have been on the back foot, in a downward spiral and lost without legitimate leadership. On March 3, 2012, Project Madinah hosted an event to commemorate this important date. One which all Muslims must not forget. Talk 2 - Present - The Dark Age The rule of Allāh (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) was implemented upon mankind for over 1,300 years via the Khulafah and the system of Khilafah which Allāh (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) intended for mankind and which the Prophet (SallAllāhu Alaihi Wasallam) initiated. Seeing the resources, the unity and the power of the Muslims, the Kuffar made their move. Following the failure of the Crusades and the rise of first Secularism and then Capitalism in the West, it became clear that the Khilafah was a massive threat and a treasure trove of resources. Thus the Political, Cultural and Military Invasion began and Islam was torn from its Golden Age into its Darkest Hour. -- War, famine, defeat, death, disunity, loss of identity, oppression, suffering, vilification.
