Usha Subba | UN Women Nepal

Usha Subba believed in following her dreams that is why she chose the journey of becoming a leader for her community. Usha underwent 18 months of leadership training under the UN Women’s project, supported by the Government of Finland. With her newfound inspiration and knowledge on leadership, Usha ran for an elected position at the local election as a ward member for Dharan Municipality, Sunsari District and won. Today Usha is a strong and influential leader in her society, inspiring others to follow their pursuits. Produced before 31 December 2019.
