Capital One Venture X: Past it's Prime? (2 Year Review)

The Capital One Venture X shook up the premium credit card space when it launched back in 2021. It came in with strong perks, a surprisingly low annual fee for its category, and quickly became a fan favorite. I actually grabbed the card myself in 2023, and it’s been in my wallet ever since. But here we are in 2025, and the landscape has changed. Chase just refreshed the Sapphire Reserve, Amex just refreshed the Platinum, and premium cards are more competitive than ever. So the big question is: does the Venture X still hold its own, or has it finally been outshined by the competition?
