Jehovah's Witnesses - Why My Family Won't Leave?

#exjwsthink #JehovahsWitnesses #Family In this podcast, the comparison is made to how difficult it may be for an elderly couple to move out of a bad neighborhood much like a Jehovah’s Witness that invests many years in the Watchtower organization. They, too, may experience similar issues. A lot of Jehovah’s Witnesses realize that there is something wrong with the teachings because of the sheer number of failed predictions. But, they have built their lives around the organization and established relationships with many people throughout the years. They have a certain level of fear about disturbing their current ecosystem because they have no idea how to start over after spending a lifetime in the organization. Everyone has different interests and have given up a lot in their lives waiting for armageddon to save them from their circumstances. Unfortunately, most people that joined this religion many years ago, died without the realization of surviving into a paradise earth as the Watchtower so aptly talks about rather fluently. When it comes to Jehovah’s Witnesses there is no such thing as “one-size-fits-all” because each person clings to the beliefs based on their own challenges and difficulties. In fact, you can have 25 people sitting at the Kingdom Hall and each one of them are choosing to remain loyal for different reasons. What one person may believe is the truth about certain Watchtower teachings, another member may not agree at all. However, they both have the same thing in common, namely, they believe this is the truth! Others may strongly believe that they don’t want to leave because they have nowhere else to go and are willing to take their chances to see what may happen. You cannot force anyone to leave if they are unwilling to accept the information you are trying to present. However, do your best to keep the lines of communication open so that when your loved ones are ready to listen, you will be there for them during their time of need. Still others remain in the organization and are otherwise known as PIMO, Physically In Mentally Out because they do not want to lose precious relationships with their friends and families. However, once you learn that it’s not necessary to continue living in fear, you will abandon the notion that there is no life outside of family if you will only venture out to the unknown world. You will find true, unconditional friendships and an entire world of loving individuals.
