Breaking: 18,000 Indians Stuck in Israel, This is how Operation Ajay will rescue them from War Zone

India has launched 'Operation Ajay' to carry out a phased evacuation of its citizens from Israel. The Indian embassy in Israel is currently compiling lists of Indian citizens for each evacuation phase, with the first group of registered Indian citizens already notified. The first evacuation flight is scheduled for Thursday, and subsequent messages will be sent to other registered individuals for subsequent flights. Special charter flights and necessary arrangements are being made for this operation. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has established a 24/7 control room in Delhi to oversee the operation. Separate emergency helplines in Tel Aviv and Ramallah are operational to monitor the situation in Israel and Palestine. India's efforts aim to assist over 18,000 Indians in Israel, including students, caregivers, diamond traders, and IT professionals. This evacuation operation is not India's first, as the country has previously carried out successful operations like 'Operation Ganga' to evacuate Indians from Ukraine and 'Operation Kaveri' to bring back nationals from Sudan during times of civil unrest. #israelnews #israel #hamasattack #operationajay #operationajayisrael #israelhamaswar #israelwar #hamas #benjamin #netanyahu #benjaminnetanyahu #pmmodi #sjaishankar #jaishankar #modiisrael #israelmodiconect #topnews Subscribe to The Times of India's YouTube channel: http://goo.gl/WgIatu For daily news & updates and exclusive stories, follow the Times of India Facebook:   / timesofindia   Instagram:   / timesofindia   Download the app: http://toi.in/3SLUCa80 Follow TOI+ for well-researched and in-depth news and analysis Facebook:   / timesofindiaplus   Twitter:   / toiplus   Instagram:   / toi_plus
