Odrysian Kings #1 (Thracian History)

In this video, I begin exploring the history of the Thracians, a people who inhabited most of what is now Bulgaria, as well as parts of Northern Greece, Romania, and European Turkey. We begin with Teres I, who unified the Thracian tribes in the 5th century B.C. and formed the Odrysian Kingdom. We then see how Sitalces made it a regional power to be reckoned with, and how tribal conflict and civil war reversed the nations' fortune.
