REPORT BACK from the WEST BANK Sunday Service, November 23rd, 10:15 am - 12:00 pm Also on Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89696209837 REPORT BACK from the WEST BANK Join us for a presentation followed by Q&A with a comrade who just returned from three months of volunteer work in the West Bank. What is "solidarity-accompaniment" work? What are the current needs of Palestinians facing settler violence and military occupation? What are the roles of a volunteer? What are the risks involved? What is life like on the ground for volunteers? How can we get involved? Our speaker, whose name is Jamie, is a global humanitarian worker and activist based here in Southern California. Most recently they were in the Amazon standing with indigenous activists. Over the summer they helped document settler violence in the West Bank. They enjoy antizionist bagels and are a lover of all animals.
