Patrick Schwarzenegger Starring Role With Bella Thorne!

Patrick Schwarzenegger has just landed his first big movie role and his parents couldn’t be prouder! The 21-year old was spotted having dinner with actress Bella Thorne and director Scott Speer back in April, which left us wondering if something big was in the works. Well, we were right! Bella confirmed the news last night on Instagram posting a picture, writing that the two have been cast as the leads in Midnight Sun. The movie is based on a 2006 Japanese film about a 17-year old who suffers from a disease, where if even the smallest amount of sunlight hits her skin, it could kill her. Patrick will play Bella’s love interest in the movie and his famous family couldn’t be happier. His mom, Maria Shriver, congratulated him on Twitter writing, “So exciting. Hard work pays off.” But we have to mention, that even though Patrick and Bella will be playing a romantic couple, there is nothing going on that way between them in real life. When the two had dinner together, Bella posted a pic saying, “Disclaimer *** we are just friends.” Plus, Bella recently stepped out with Gregg Sulkin on the red carpet.
