It took five weeks but Vikings tight end Irv Smith, Jr finally got involved in the offensive passing game in a big way. Smith hauled in four of his five targets for over 60 yards. More importantly was the timing of Smith's catches coming at huge moments of the game and critical junctures of the Vikings offensive game plan.
