The Sayreville Police Department along with the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating serious allegations of misconduct and inappropriate behavior involving members of the Sayreville High School football team. This all started Thursday after Sayreville abruptly canceled and forfeited their football game. Sayreville Superintendent Richard Labbe said that they canceled the game because of serious allegations regarding "significant misconduct" involving the team. He said the investigation was ongoing, but would not confirm the alleged hazing allegations that supposedly occurred between senior and freshman player. Students at Sayreville High School say that rumors are flying and most of them have to do with heinous hazing practices that took place in the sports locker room which is shared by all football players. Sal Mistretta, a former coach at Sayreville High School said if these rumors are true then it's disturbing. http://www.my9nj.com/story/26724098/s...
