244: (Part 1) Air Conditioning Compressor Failure Fix

   / @electricdanielboone   Part 1 of the quick overview of fixing the blown air conditioning compressor in our 06 4Runner. The compressor was blown when we bought it late last year, so it was time to fix it for the summer. I had the system evacutated at a shop and the system only had 0.23lb of R134 left in the system that specifies a min of 1.21lb max 1.43lbs. Found signs of the "black death" of the entire AC system in the strainer to desicant can on the condensor. Pulled the dash the dash crash bar in order the get to the heater core/evavporator assembly. Replaced the evaporator and thermal expansion valve (txv).
