There has been a serious bus accident in Magoffin County involving students, and four are in critical condition. The bus was heading on route 40 to Salyersville when the bus crashed Monday morning. The Salyersville Independent reports the bus was traveling toward Salyersville when it dropped off the pavement and into the ditch, then reentered the roadway. The driver appears to have overcorrected, crossing both lanes and over the embankment, striking and cutting a utility pole in half.
