So I've reached the point in the game where most of these battles can be solved with simple overrides, but for the sake of these videos I'm going to mostly avoid that and try to offer helpful approaches for players who might not have completed all of the cauldrons. I might drop this for the final mission, depending on how nasty things get. A Behemoth and a Ravager aren't a particularly deadly combination, but they can be annoying on Ultra Hard. To remove any real threat, it's best to tie one machine down and kill the other. The Ropecaster duration will easily last long enough to kill either of these machines. However, as the battle begins Varl is typically attacking the Behemoth. If you tie him down, Varl will shoot it and cost you time on the rope duration. Instead I run over and tie down the Ravager. From there the encounter is just two relatively easy machine fights. At 45 seconds the Behemoth "crushes" me. It's important to be aware of this status, because like Burning or Corroding, it drains your health and prevents low-health regen from kicking in. In response I use my medicine bag, even though I'd rather stay at critical health, ideally. After taking down the Behemoth my Ravager fight is sloppy, but thanks to Low Health Defense +4 it doesn't matter. It really takes the edge off of Ultra Hard.
