Watch: Mumbai lashed by pre-monsoon rain, water-logging and jams in parts of city

Mumbai was greeted with moderate rainfall on the morning of June 7, classified by the weather bureau as pre-monsoon thundershowers. It resulted in water-logging in parts of central Mumbai including Hindmata in Dadar, parts of Elphinstone Road, and Dadar TT circle. Traffic police was seen diverting traffic at places and there were jams on the Western Express Highway. The weather bureau has issued an ‘extremely heavy’ rainfall alert for the city from June 9 to 11. Watch the video.
